We met each other in 2003 in San Francisco. After an instant spark of chemistry, we would share years of candle-lit dinner parties, Burning Man fundraisers, and family-of-friends celebrations like weddings and trips to Mexico. True kindred spirits, we would easily fall into inspired conversations about creativity, friendship, and the mystery and deliciousness that is modern womanhood. We knew we would end up creating something together…. someday.
Thirteen years later, we both found ourselves magically transplanted back to Los Angeles where we’re both from. Caneel had two kids and a career that included a PhD and a boutique consulting and coaching practice for creative entrepreneurs. Alexis had published two children’s books, helped support 275 births as a doula, and has a hypnotherapy practice focused on women’s wellness.
As cofounders and women more broadly, we are all finally in the right place at the right time. We are ecstatic to weave together the tools, wisdom and 30 years of combined experience we have gained to create something very special, just for amazing women like you. Welcome to The Trust.
